1. Who this covers

This policy describes how Contract Connect handles information about homeowners and prospective customers who use this website, request estimates, schedule visits, hire us for work, or hold a HomePassport membership. Trade contractors who apply to our network through the contractor portal are also covered, and we note the differences where they matter.

“Contract Connect,” “we” and “us” mean the Contract Connect business operating at (317) 528-0040 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

2. What we collect

We try to collect only what a contractor actually needs to price and perform your work. In practice that is:

CategoryExamplesWhere it comes from
Contact and property informationName, email address, phone number, street address, city, state, ZIPYou, on the estimate wizard, inspection request form, or by phone

Technical dataIP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, timestampsAutomatically, when you browse the site
Contractor applicant dataBusiness name, trades, service ZIP codes, license and insurance documentationTrade contractors applying to our network

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, health information, or precise device geolocation from homeowners, and you should not send them to us.

3. Photos and AI analysis

This is the part of our service that is least like a typical contractor, so we want to be specific about it.

When you upload photos and answer intake questions, that content is transmitted to Anthropic, an artificial intelligence provider, whose models analyze the images to identify the work involved, take measurements, and assemble a scope. The scope is then priced by our own systems against professional construction cost data. Your photos are sent for this purpose only.

Photograph the work area, not people. Please avoid including images of people, documents containing personal information, screens, or anything else you would not want in a project file — the photos become part of your project record.

4. How we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade your contact information to other contractors or lead-generation companies.

5. Who we share it with

We share information with the following categories of recipients, limited to what each one needs:

RecipientWhat they receiveWhy
Trade partners assigned to your jobYour name, address, phone, scope of work, and relevant photosThey cannot do the work without it

Professional advisors, insurers, and authoritiesOnly what is necessaryLegal claims, insurance, audits, or where required by law

If our business is ever sold or reorganized, customer records may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

6. Your home's record

Contract Connect organizes information around the property rather than around individual transactions. Estimates, projects, repairs, permits, warranties, uploaded documents and service history are linked to a single record for your home — your Digital Home Passport. That is deliberate: it is why we do not ask you the same questions twice, and why we know the age of your water heater the next time something goes wrong.

Practical consequences you should understand:

7. Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted pages. Your full card number, CVC and expiration are submitted directly to Stripe and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We retain the amount, date, status and a reference identifier so we can invoice, refund and account correctly. Stripe's own privacy terms govern its handling of your payment data.

8. Email, calls and text messages

We contact you about your estimate, project, appointments, invoices and warranty — these are transactional messages tied to work you asked us to do. Calls with our office may be documented in your project notes.

Where you have provided a mobile number and agreed to receive text messages, we may text you about scheduling and urgent project matters. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages by replying STOP, or by telling us by phone or email; you can stop marketing email using the unsubscribe link. We will still need to reach you about active work by some means.

9. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar storage for two things: keeping you signed in to a portal and remembering your place in the estimate wizard, and measuring site usage through Google Analytics. Analytics tells us which pages people use and where they abandon the estimate flow. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, and you can use Google's opt-out browser add-on; blocking the session cookies will prevent portal login from working.

10. Security

The site is served over encrypted connections. Portal and contractor passwords are stored as one-way hashes, never in readable form. Access to customer records is limited to staff and trade partners who need it for your project, and administrative sessions expire after a period of inactivity. Card data never reaches our systems.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the authorities as required by Indiana law.

11. How long we keep it

We keep project, permit, warranty and payment records for as long as we may need them to honor a warranty, resolve a dispute, or satisfy tax, insurance and legal obligations. Home records are retained so your Digital Home Passport remains useful over time. Estimate requests that never become projects are retained so we can pick up where you left off if you return. You may ask us to delete information as described below, and we will do so except where we are required or permitted to keep it.

12. Your choices and requests

You may ask us to:

Email info@mycontractconnect.net or call (317) 528-0040. We will verify who you are before acting on a request about a specific home, and we will respond within the time frame applicable law requires. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

13. Children

This site is intended for adults arranging work on their property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top and post the revised version here. Material changes affecting how we use information about existing customers will be communicated directly.
